Eamonn M. O’Beirne

Managing Partner

Is the senior and founding partner of Cullen Tyrrell & O’Beirne. Eamonn studied in UCD and qualified as a solicitor in 1973. Eamonn heads up the firm’s probate, banking and property departments and he acts for a wide range of private and institutional clients.

He has significant experience in the area of landlord and tenant law and the acquisition and disposal of commercial and retail property. He also advises on the legal issues surrounding secured and unsecured financial transactions.

Edward John O’Beirne


Is a graduate of NUI Maynooth and DIT Auinger Street and was admitted to the roll solicitors in 2006. Edward deals in all aspects of the practice with an emphasis on elements of residential and commercial property, commercial litigation, mediation and commercial disputes. He has built up a large portfolio of clients from both private and company backgrounds by dealing with every issue on a personal basis. In his role as Partner, Edward is overseeing the continued growth and development of the firm. Edward is also an accredited mediator and a member of the Wicklow Solicitors Bar Association.

Stefan P. O’Connor

Has a degree in Business and Legal Studies and qualified as a solicitor in 2001. He earned a Diploma in Employment Law in 2002 and has been with the Firm since 2006. Stefan has been in charge of our busy litigation department since that time and his areas of expertise include contractual litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, Family Law, Employment Law, landlord and tenant and licensing and has successfully acted on behalf of many clients in cases in the High Court and Circuit Court. He has cultivated extensive contacts with specialist barristers and experts in Ireland and has 15 years experience in dealing with the Irish Court system. Stefan is also a member of the Family Lawyers Association, the Wicklow Solicitors Bar Association and the Association of Collaborative Practitioners.

Neil D. Megannety

Has a degree from UCD and joined Cullen Tyrrell & O’ Beirne in 2006 qualifing as a Solicitor in 2010. Since he began with the firm Neil has acquired extensive expertise in the area of litigation and Debt Collection. Priding himself on establishing trusting relationships with clients Neil was an integral part in the firm achieving the Excellence Through People Standard highlighting the excellent service to clients.
